The Plant Care Specialist works within our Landscape Maintenance Division, with a focus on providing our clients with excellent care and maintenance of their softscapes. The specialist would provide professional advice to both our clients and Project Managers on the selection, planning, and maintenance of trees, shrubs, ground covers, and turf, in addition to preparing and managing various orders for various types of plants and seeds. He or she would plan and design perennial flower beds for all of our customers, and would assist in the preparation of maintenance programs, including fertilizer programs, for the control of plant diseases and insects.
The Landscape Team member would work on both hardscapes and softscapes within the landscape industry. Hardscape refers to the hard materials that are incorporated into landscapes, such as brick pavers, retaining walls, pillars, and vertical features. Softscape refers to final details of a landscape project, such as plants and seeding. This position is responsible for a variety of job tasks in the completion of landscape projects, including but not limited to paved areas, driveways, retaining walls, or any other landscaping made up of hard wearing materials such as stone, concrete etc.
The Irrigation Tech Assistant assists in the construction and maintenance of automatic irrigation systems, garden ponds, low-voltage lighting, and installation of pumps for waterfalls. He or she would report to a team leader and perform duties as assigned by the team leader. He or she is also responsible for a variety of job tasks in the completion of landscape projects, including, but not limited to paved areas, driveways, retaining walls, or any other landscapes composed of hard wearing materials, such as stone or concrete.
Our asphalt division focuses on light commercial and residential driveways and parking lots. Team members must be able to operate a variety of machines, complete site prep, and install asphalt and base materials. The asphalt team member must have a general understanding of asphalt construction.
The Maintenance Team Member should possess a basic understanding of the maintenance requirements of all installed hardscape elements. He or she is also responsible for a variety of job tasks such as performing routine lawn maintenance, including grass cutting, lawn edging, weed pulling, and uses a lawn mower and related equipment on the job.
