Meet Our Staff
Matt Esch, MCN, Owner
Matt is the 30 year old founder and owner of Esch Landscaping, LLC. Matt started mowing lawns when he was 13 under the business name Matt’s Lawn Care. Upon graduation from high school in 1995, he went on to Michigan State University to further his education in landscape design. After completion of the two year program, he was well on his way to having a successful landscape company.

Matt’s goals are to offer the best customer service in the industry through the greater thumb of Michigan . He also wants to have a great team of workers to enjoy what they do for a living.In January, 2008, Esch Landscaping, LLC was featured in the Landscape Contractor National magazine in the residential showcase.

Matt lives north of Elkton with his wife Lisa and children, Justin and Lauren. He is the son of Denny and Dee and has two older brothers that also live in Michigan . In his free time he enjoys hunting and spending time with his family.

Lisa Esch, Owner, Office Manager
Lisa helps run the business with Matt as the Office Manager. Upon graduation from high school in 1994, she attended Central Michigan University to study music education. After completing her B.M.E. degree, she started a teaching career in the Thumb area of Michigan. She now keeps busy running the office and taking care of their two children.

Denny Esch, Retail Manager
Denny joined Esch Landscaping LLC in June of 1996. Denny is the retail manager at our store on Crescent Beach Road . He has been married to his wife, Dee for 39 years and has 3 grown sons and 8 grandchildren. Denny stays busy managing the retail store, ordering product for the landscape crews, and lending his expertise to the irrigation division.

Along with his many responsibilities, Denny works with our retail customers helping them out with their planting needs and organizes our special events. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting and watching his grandkids grow up!

Jim Bruce, Fleet and Facility Manager
Jim joined Esch Landscaping, LLC in March of 2005. He currently is in charge of maintaining equipment and delivering items to the job sight. Jim is also in charge of safety and making sure the facility is looking its best at all times. Building team member relationships is also a key aspect of Jim’s job. He truly keeps all team members upbeat and ensures good attitudes.

Jim and his talented wife Harriet have 3 grown boys and 2 grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoys hunting, traveling, NASCAR and bowling!

Jamie Sera, Landscape Designer
Jamie joined Esch Landscaping, LLC in January 2006. She has made a great impression with our clients by being passionate about taking care of all aspects of the business. She graduated in December 2005, with a bachelors degree from Michigan State University . Her degree is in General Horticulture with an emphasis in Landscape Design Construction Management.

During her spare time she is the volleyball coach at North Huron Jr. High School . She also enjoys painting and playing with her Boston Terrier, Quincy.
