Maintenance Team Member
Esch Landscaping, LLC is a residential and commercial landscape design/build firm located near the beautiful shores of Lake Huron on Saginaw Bay. Many of our clients have second homes along the coast of Lake Huron. We primarily service the thumb area of Michigan. Position Overview
The position is a seasonal (April - November) full time position. The Maintenance Team Member should possess a basic understanding of the maintenance requirements of all installed hardscape elements. He or she is also responsible for a variety of job tasks such as performing routine lawn maintenance, including grass cutting, lawn edging, weed pulling, and uses a lawn mower and related equipment on the job. He or she would report to a team leader and perform other duties as assigned by the team leader.

Work Conditions
Ability to work with hand tools, small engine equipment, and materials
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
Requires good manual dexterity
Excellent stamina is required
Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Competent in the use of power tools (chainsaws, pruners, sod cutters, sprayers, rototillers, lawn mowers, line trimmers, etc.)
Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
Must possess a valid driver’s license (and willingness to attain a chauffeurs license)
Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various softscape practices
Physically fit with strong stamina
Ability to follow safe working procedures
Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
Carry and use a cell phone or data-enabled device for communication and reporting (calling and/or texting)
Wage Range:
Based on education and experience.
