Grub Control

There are two types of grub control methods: preventative and remedial. Preventative grub control is a proactive way to treat and maintain your lawn that often costs less and is more sustainable than curative methods. Some grubs can be found in every lawn, especially those that are well irrigated and healthy, as those provide the best sources of food for the grub. In addition to the nuisance grubs can cause on their own, they often attract wildlife, like skunks, possums, and even raccoons, to paw though and dig up patches of your grass and turf.

Esch Landscaping offers both preventative grub treatment as well as remedial grub treatment, although we often prefer to do the latter!

  • Grub prevention is applied in step 3 of our 6-step fertilization and weed control program

  • Grub remedial control (up to 2-steps per season) can be added with any maintenance package or a la carte.
