Lawn Maintenance Team Member

Position Overview
The position is a seasonal (April - November) full time position. The Lawn Maintenance Team Member should possess a basic understanding of the maintenance requirements of all installed hardscape elements. He or she is also responsible for a variety of job tasks such as performing routine lawn maintenance, including grass cutting, lawn edging, weed pulling, and uses a lawn mower and related equipment on the job. He or she would report to a team leader and perform other duties as assigned by the team leader.

Work Conditions
Ability to work with hand tools, small engine equipment, and materials
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
Requires good manual dexterity
Excellent stamina is required
Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, preferred
Competent in the use of power tools
Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
Must possess a valid driver’s license (and able to attain a chauffeurs license)
Ability to follow safe working procedures
Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
Wage Range:
Based on education and experience.
