Position Overview
This position is a seasonal (April - November) full time position. This position is responsible for a variety of job tasks in the completion of landscape projects, including but not limited to paved areas, driveways, retaining walls, or any other landscaping made up of hard wearing materials such as stone, concrete, etc., plant installation, sodding, seeding, pruning, trimming, weeding and fertilizing.

Work Conditions
Ability to work with hand tools, small engine equipment, and materials
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 80 lbs.
Requires good manual dexterity
Excellent stamina is required
Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
Minimum Requirements
Experience in horticulture or landscape preferred
Competent in the use of power tools (chainsaws, pruners, sod cutters, sprayers, rototillers, lawn mowers, line trimmers, etc.)
Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)
Must possess a valid driver’s license (and able to attain a chauffeurs license and medical card)
Ability to follow safe working procedures
Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team

Based on education, certifications, and experience.
