Since its beginning in 1996, Esch Landscaping has created a team of some of the finest craftsmen and management personnel in the industry.  Located in Pigeon Michigan, Esch Landscaping has become the premier landscape provider of beautiful and creative outdoor spaces for its full-time residents and those who spend the summers in their lakeside homes. We are diverse in services which in addition to Landscaping, include: Asphalt Maintenance, Turf Maintenance and Snow Management. Position Overview:

The position is a seasonal (April - November) full time or part time position. The Personal Gardener works within our Landscape Services Division, with a focus on providing our clients with excellent care and maintenance of their softscapes. The Personal Gardener would work directly with our Landscape Services Division Manager. We are willing to train for this position.

Work Conditions:

  • Ability to work with hand tools, small engine equipment, and materials

  • Excellent stamina is required

  • Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Competent in the use of power tools

  • Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner

  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license (and able to attain a chauffeurs license and medical card)

  • Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various softscape practices

  • Ability to follow safe working procedures

  • Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team

 

Wage Range:

Based on education, certifications, and experience.
